Step 1 Cardio exercise. Get off that couch. So, first thing you got to do, first step, just get off the couch. Just 30 minutes of cardio exercise a day can have you loving your face again in no time. Jogging, brisk walking, jump rope, jumping jacks, are all things that you can do right inside your home, so there’s no excuses. You don’t have to go anywhere, you don’t even have to get dressed to go outside, you can just do it in your living room, in your bedroom; no excuses.
Step 2 This is a funny one but do facial exercises. There’s research that shows that facial exercises can cause toning and strengthening in your face. You may look funny, but your face is going to look great.
Step 3 Drink less alcohol. I know many of you are going, “I can’t do that,” or “I don’t want to do that.” The truth is, the more alcohol you drink, the more dehydrated your body gets. And in response to that, you get bloated. You actually retain water, which causes bloating, which can make your face look puffy. So, get rid of some of that alcohol and you will have a more slimming face. And we’ve all seen men with beer bellies. If alcohol can do that to your belly, imagine what it can do to your face.

Step 4 Drink more water. Water is so important for so many things, but especially for losing weight. And research actually shows that drinking water promotes our body to break down fat stores into fatty acids, which is what our body actually uses for energy. And burning energy is how we burn calories, and that’s how we lose weight. So, drink more water.
Step 5 Get more sleep. This one makes a lot of sense, because, think of this; okay, you were up late last night with friends, you’re having a great time, but you realized, “Oh my gosh, I still got to get up for work tomorrow.” So, you go to bed, you get about five or six hours of sleep, you wake up, you’re exhausted, you get ready, you go to work. You’re exhausted all day. So, when you leave work, instead of your normal routine of going to work out and then going home and making a wonderful dinner for your family, you choose to skip the workout and then pick up fast food on the way home. So, two bad choices right there, all because you didn’t get enough sleep last night. So, get more sleep. That’ll help you lose weight in your body and in your face.
Step 6 and final tip is…improve your overall diet. Diets high in processed food and refined carbohydrates increase the risk of gaining weight. So, cutting those out and replacing them with lean protein, vegetables, and fruit, will help you lose weight in both your body and your face.
